One of my Little Torah Girls

Raising Torah children.....

(Mat 18:3) and said, "Yes! I tell you that unless you change and become like little children, you won't even enter the Kingdom of Heaven!

So I have had a bit of writers block and couldn’t figure out what I wanted to blog about next…. SO I decided to question my almost 6 yr old about her thought on family.

I think her answers were interesting….

I started by just asking her what she thought was important about family.

Me: Kaylah what do you think is important in families?

Kaylah: Sharing - food and toys with brothers and sisters

Me: What else?

Kaylah: To listen, Kids to mom and dad and to the Bible.

Me: What is family?

Kaylah: A blessing.

Me: Who is our family?

Kaylah: Israelites

Me: What else is important about family?

Kaylah: Make sure kids listen to the bible

Me: Anything else you want to say about family?

Kaylah: Keep the sabbath make sure everybody in the house does it too and keep the commandments.

I think it’s amazing the things she has picked up on…. I guess I didn’t realize how much she actually understood!  I just assumed she was going to give much more basic answers…she blew me away!

I think it would be interesting to do this again in a few years to see how her answers would mature…

What a heart this little one has for her Father!

I would love to hear some your childrens answers! Share what your children say in the comments and be sure to tell us how old they are!
